    • Seven Sisters Country Park -
      Hundreds of acres of chalkland with the river meandering through it. Visitor centre.  Seaford.
    • Woods Mill Countryside Centre -
      HQ of Sussex Wildlife Trust - nature trails, lake, streams
    • The South Downs -
      Could be seen as one huge linear country park - places to stop and stare all along the downs. Try the Devils Dyke just outside Brighton. Brilliant views - and hang gliders etc. galore!
    • The Ashdown Forest is in the north of East Sussex and is the largest area in the South East of England which has never been under the plough. Deer abound and in the spring you can see an abundance of bluebells throughout the area.
