Going from terminal to terminal - it is easy to walk to and from terminal 1,2 and 3 either above or below ground. The below ground walkways are well sign-posted. To get to or from terminal 4 you need to get the Heathrow Express train which is free from terminals 1,2&3 (which is just one train stop). Access to this train is sign-posted in all the terminals.
Disabled passengers - It is advisable to consult with your airline prior to departure. There are help phones situated outside all the terminal buildings from where wheelchair assistance can be requested. If you are more able bodied but would find what might well be a very long walk to the gate difficult, you can request buggy assistance when you check in.
Information desks - Are situated in all the terminal buildings.
Buses - The main bus terminal is opposite terminal
Underground trains These can be accessed by following the signs from any of the terminals. Heathrow Express - This train takes you directly into central London and can be accessed from all the terminals by following the signs.
Arrivals - Use the 'Arrivals' pages if you are collecting somebody that is flying into Heathrow. Departures - Use the 'Departures' pages if you are dropping somebody off that is flying out from Heathrow.
