NB If YOU are flying out from Heathrow you should NOT BE HERE in your own car (unless somebody is going to drive it home for you)! See the long term parking pages for further information.
It is far easier to cope if you have made sure which terminal you need before you set out. Nothing is more sure to induce total panic than finding you are in the wrong terminal - remember it can well take half an hour to get between terminals if you get it wrong!
Throughout the terminal buildings there are screens on which you will find the departures and arrivals listed to help you find your way around.
You need to remember that a party / family cannot be ‘checked in’ unless it is complete so sending the wife and kids in to ‘check in’ while you go to the long term car park will not help. In reality it will only increase stress as neither ‘half’ will know where the other ‘half’ is. You are advised to go directly to your long term car park We recommend BCP (from personal experience). Let them take your entire party into the correct terminal. This will save you a great deal of worry.
